Welcome to the registration for the International Conference on Operations Research 2025. The registration and payment process is handled by Converia. Please read this information carefully first and then go to Converia here.

The conference fee includes:
- Access to all sessions and the exhibition.
- Conference materials: Conference bag with printed conference booklet and online access to the technical program with abstracts.
- Coffee breaks with small catering in the morning (Wednesday to Friday) and in the afternoon (Wednesday and Thursday).
- Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Wifi access at the conference venue.
- Admission to the Get Together on Tuesday and the Welcome Reception on Wednesday (please specify when registering).
The conference fee for an accompanying person covers the same costs as the regular conference fee, with the exception of access to the sessions and conference material.
The conference fee does not include a ticket for public transportation, as this is covered by the popular “Deutschlandticket”. If you do not have a Deutschlandticket, we recommend that you purchase the “TagesTicket24” at a price of 6.20 € per day from the public transport company mobiel (price from April 1, 2025, see https://www.mobiel.de/tickets/alle-tickets/). You can get it at almost every tram stop.
Important notes
- By registering, you agree that film and photo recordings may be made at the conference, the Dokt!OR event and the social events.
- Our caterers will serve normal, vegetarian or vegan food. Special requests cannot be considered. If you are unable to make use of the catering service, there is no reduction in fees.
- Accompanying persons must register separately.
- There are separate categories for honorary members and representatives of gold members in the registration process, please select these categories. As representatives of gold members can change, we have installed a simple verification process to avoid incorrect and overbooking. An upload of an simple proof is required at the end of the registration (top of the bottom right box on the screen; JPG, PNG, PDF; only one file; max. 2 MB).
- The very few, who are entitled to free participation, please register as “free participant”. You were informed by e-mail that you should register with this category.
- If you will be lucky to receive an award at this conference, your registration will change. If you think you are a candidate for an award, please register normally first.
- The Conference Dinner on Thursday has a limited capacity. You can book it during the registration process on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The Social Program (GetTogether/Welcome Reception/Conference Dinner) can only be booked until 15 August 2025 so that the caterers can be informed of the number of participants in good time.
- The Operations Research Proceedings 2025 will be published by Springer at a price of 10 € (ebook) and 30 € (printed book). You have the option to order during the registration process. When you order, you allow us to share your contact details with Springer so that the book can be delivered to you.
Reduced fees
- Unlike in previous years, there is no discount for PhD students. – Don’t worry, pay attention to the next point:
- Benefit from reduced fees as a GOR member! – The discount is higher than the membership fee! Here you can become a member of the GOR.
- If you are a member of ÖGOR, SVOR and other societies cooperating with GOR, please register as “GOR member equivalent” or “MSc/BSc student / retiree (GOR equivalent)”.
- Participants from low-income economies can register at the fees of GOR members. Please chose the categorie “Regular (low-income economy)” or “MSc/BSc student / retiree (low-income economy)”. Please consult the list of low-income countries to check for eligibility (https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups).
- Proof of eligibility for the reduced fee other than GOR membership must be provided at the end of the registration process. An upload (top of the bottom right box on the screen; JPG, PNG, PDF; only one file; max. 2 MB) is required. Proof can be, for example, a student ID card, an identity card or a membership invoice from the cooperating society, etc.
Cancellation policy
For any cancellation, you must send an email to the organizing committee (or2025@uni-bielefeld.de). The following refunds will be made:
a) Cancellation before 1st June, 2025: 100 %
b) Cancellation before 1st July, 2025: 75 %
c) Cancellation before 1st August, 2025: 50 %
d) Cancellation on 1st August, 2025 or later: 0 %
of the fee paid for the canceled registration, the conference dinner and/or the conference proceedings.
